ABOUT AHP

UCSF Alliance Health Project’s
Provider Publications for
HIV Prevention and Mental Health

This is a collection of periodicals and books that blend research and practice to help front-line mental health and health care providers deliver the highest quality HIV-related counseling and mental health care.

AHP’s 20 years of experience producing publications for providers working with HIV has built a library of practical guides to counseling techniques and HIV-related mental health information. Appropriate for everyone from front-line HIV testing counselors, outreach workers, and case managers to licensed mental health and health professionals through to researchers and policy makers, AHP publications have followed the evolution of HIV disease. They have tracked the psychosocial and counseling implications of HIV-related medical, psychological, and social phenomena.
